Gigi’s Cupcakes Savannah, GA
As a lover of desserts and as a photographer, I love all things sweet and pretty. Not coincidentally, sweet and pretty are two words that perfectly describe Gigi’s cupcakes.
The first time I ever tasted a Gigi’s cupcake was at a friend’s brunch when she brought us a box for dessert. Upon seeing them, I marveled at how cute they were, and after I had my first bite, I immediately fell in love with Gigi’s. To this day, I can still remember how impatient my friends got when I made them wait forever to eat their cupcakes because I couldn’t stop myself from taking pictures of the adorable little things.
I cherish hosting (and attending) tea parties for friends — I love offering my guests pretty treats, and I love the atmosphere of people getting together. As a Gigi’s owner, I get to offer my customers/guests beautiful cupcakes every day and share their happiness, whatever the occasion.
Managing our little cupcake boutique is one of the more enjoyable parts of my day, but that’s all thanks to our supportive crew. Together we share creative minds, work with perfectionists’ passion, and sport the kind of southern hospitality that has come to define Gigi’s.
Although my daily work falls into a routine of getting a variety of mouthwatering, fresh cupcakes ready for eager customers every morning, each day brings new joys and surprises. Whether it’s an exquisite cake that has been crafted in our own bakery kitchen, the delightful exclamations of a satisfied customer, or the uninterrupted smiles of children while we share a happy birthday song with them, I always have something to look forward to. The highlight of my day, however, is when I’m recording all the happy memories through my camera and sharing them with Gigi’s growing family via social media.
